Growing up, we loved to stay outdoors. Being twin brothers, we were normally together from daylight until bedtime. We have a tomboy sister that is only two years older, so we made a great trio during our younger days. We stayed in the woods every day, building, exploring or scouting. Our dad started to take us deer hunting while we were in the fifth grade. We both fell in love with the feeling of the whole hunting experience. As our sister developed other interests and we graduated from pellet guns to using real guns, we started hunting groundhogs in the summer. That was a great fun and really taught us how to shoot. We even took our bows and set up near groundhog holes, waiting for a shot. As we grew older, we loved staying outdoors even more. We soon opted to give up baseball, a sport we loved, so that we could concentrate on hunting and outdoor activities. While in high school we began to hunt as a team, with one of us taking the family video camera to record the action. We began to knock around the name Elmore Outdoors, since all our friends said the Elmores were always outdoors. Through the years we continued to work together, filming many of our hunts along the way. We quickly became addicted to watching our hunts on film over and over again. Before long we were totally hooked. We often went deer hunting and turkey hunting early in the mornings before school. We always went to school when we were sick, so that we would not miss and have a few days left to be absent so we could be in the woods on opening day of bow and gun season. After graduating from Burns High School, we attended Cleveland Community College for two years, then transferred to Gardner Webb University for two more years. This allowed us to commute to college from home and continue our hunting and taxidermy interests. We both majored in Communication Studies with concentrations in Electronic Publication. Justin minored in Business, while Jason earned a minor in Art. While at college, we often found time to deer and turkey hunt between classes. Some where in all that, we even managed to help out Dad with his farm of registered Charolasi and commercial cattle. Of course, our parents never knew that we went to gamelands scouting between classes and skipped some classes to go hunting near campus. While in college, we gained more computer and video knowledge. After purchasing a professional video camera and Apple computer, we went to work putting together hunting dvd's featuring our experiences. After graduation from GWU, we knew we wanted to stay on the farm, continue to hunt and pursue our outdoor interests. We were soon in business with our dad at Andy O Farms Poultry, LLC and now have eight broiler (chicken) houses. We work hard, but have managed to still find time to hunt and fish. As we become more experienced poultry farmers, we hope to find more time to make hunting videos. Thanks for visiting our website and God bless.
